Food Photography
This shot was taken on the second floor of an office building near where I work. I often go walking at break time and take my camera. Sometimes I will see something that catches my eye and provide an unusual shot.
Colors That Just Beg To Be Photographed
Early one Sunday morning, I made my coffee, got out the Coffee-Mate and raw sugar. Well, we had just run out of Sugar-in-the-Raw and bought another brand. The night before, my wife poured the new on top of the old (which was darker). When I was putting the cream into the coffee, all the colors- the two-tone sugar, the granite countertop and the coffee and cream swirling together was a shot just waiting to happen!
Los Angeles Union Station
This was taken on a recent trip to Palm Springs. I was trying to get out to Palm Springs from Irvine, down in Orange County, for a Family Reunion. After many, many failed attempts at scheduling with MetroLink and AmTrak to go thru Santa Ana Canyon, I finally had to take the train from Angel Stadium, go to Union Station in Los Angeles, there I had to catch the only train going to Palm Springs- it continues all the way to Chicago. That would be an interesting trip!
